Humble apologies for no post last week, we were, unfortunately, back in the hospital with the girl and after becoming septic for the second time in a month, the port was removed and a PICC line placed. On the 19th, it will be a reversal, where the PICC will be removed and a new port put in. Confused much? Me too. However, the girl is home for now and enjoying being part of the family unit again. This was their reunion. Noah could not stop kissing Ivy, and she was just so happy and relieved to be home. They played the afternoon away and then snuggled together at night. A happy day. Her home coming, on Monday was lovely. No one more happy to see her, than Noah. Of course, since then, there have been tears and fighting, while they get used to having each other around again. 12 days is a long time in a four year old's world but that first hello, that first hug is enough to see me through what we lovingly call "hospital re - entry". Accessories are a vital part of every little girl's wardrobe! Unfortunately (or fortunately for the snap happy Mummy) we seem to have our seasonal accessories a little mixed up. Apparently, she was off to the beach, this day, in her beanie and sunnies and was changing her name to 'Ratatouille' for good measure.
