		<description>A bit of a sore topic around here.  I did try to have traditional parties [English style, ooo what a disaster!]  Anyway, once I started to get a clue about what I was up against, we started small i.e. two of his therapy friends.  I use &#039;friends&#039; in the loosest of terms.

Gradually we have progressed.  Currently we favour a small &#039;racing car speed track,&#039; which is local and holds 8 to 12 children.  It&#039;s only an hour and a half which is just about tolerable and certainly far happier than any of the alternatives we&#039;ve tried over the years.  The only parties they attend are ones that are similarly small scale and highly structured.
