I did try to have traditional parties [English style, ooo what a disaster!] Anyway, once I started to get a clue about what I was up against, we started small i.e. two of his therapy friends. I use 'friends' in the loosest of terms. Gradually we have progressed. Currently we favour a small 'racing car speed track,' which is local and holds 8 to 12 children. It's only an hour and a half which is just about tolerable and certainly far happier than any of the alternatives we've tried over the years. The only parties they attend are ones that are similarly small scale and highly structured. Best wishes A bit of a sore topic around here.
