Right, Left, Does It Really Matter
Life events of recent months have caused me to think way too much about everything. So I've decided to quit…thinking so much, that is.
Let's face it. In the end does it really matter if the right boot was on the left foot or the left boot on the right foot…that we have this diagnosis or that one…or that we kept walking forward?

Melody – So glad to see you back here! And you're right – all that matters is that you continue to move forward!

That's what I keep telling my mother when my dad puts his clothes and shoes on wrong (he's had a massive stroke a few years back). At least he has something on and knows who she is.

I think it just matters that we do the best we can for each other. Having been sick the last week and a half and unable to do much other than rest, I've learned that life can be pared down to essentials pretty quickly when you need to.
And the most amazing part was how my friends jumped in to help me, even if they had stuff going on in their own lives.
Something about the way you say things just cuts right through, it's good to hear your voice again.
