All This For A Couple Of Links

Utah has the greatest snow on earth. I know this because just about every car in the state proclaims this very thing on their license plate.

So, it’s gotta be true.

I see snowboarders and skiers wearing shorts flying down the mountains in March even. Personally I feel that March is an obscene month to still get snowstorms, but hey, that’s Utah for ya.

But the question that really begs an answer is whether or not there will be snow for Christmas. I mean how unfair is it to get snowed on in March but left high and dry on December 25th?

To answer that question I turned to the Weather Channel. Yup, they predict, by region, the chance you have of having some white on the ground when the big guy comes flying in.

Will YOU Have Snow For Christmas?
will give you your odds too.

Leave a comment and tell us if YOU expect to get snow!

Nope. Not a snowball’s chance of snow on Christmas here. I live too far south…I grew up with snow though, big snow, and on Christmas I do miss it. Sledding and ice skating outside, snowball wars and making snow angels.Fun!

It’s not looking good for us Marylanders. Stupid grass on Christmas. I grew up in Utah, so I counted on snow. Grass is NOT as good.

LOL, we get snow maybe once every 4 or 5 years so I seriously doubt we’ll be having a white Christmas. I checked the snow predictor and we are not even on the chart (less than 5% chance). For a long time the boys used to ask me “when are we going to get snow, because it’s winter it’s supposed to snow”. You know, because that’s what they see in books and on tv. I had to explain MANY times that where we live we just don’t get snow very often, even if it is winter :) .
