I really need to think about this one this year, since my son is getting older and more is expected of him from other people than when he was a toddler/preschooler. We have scaled back our family get togethers to be just one overnight and we spend Christmas morning in our home by ourselves, which we all really enjoy. :) This is a very timely post, Melinda.
