Remember how I told you that few of weeks ago, Jacqui had begun learning how to write? Well, her interest in writing notes has now given way to creating signs. She posts them everywhere. On everything. Every time I turn around, another public notice has gone up. Like the one you see above. "No Little Brother."

Charming, eh?

I asked her why her little brother was crying in the picture that she drew.

"'Cause dat's wat's gonna happen if he goes in my room an' touches enny of my fings ah-ginn!"

I try logic. "Has it occurred to you that your little brother won't be able to read your sign?"

"Not my problem dat he's ill-libber-ate."

"He's not illiterate. He's two."

"Dat's not my problem ee-vur."

I believe I see the signs of a long week ahead. Let the games begin…

Absolutely hilarious. And you can't really argue with her, can you?

Ooo my, such tremendous developments indeed. I'm glad to hear that you're taking such a positive attitude, which is just as well really because I can confidently predict that you will be in receipt of a few personal notes yourself, only too soon!
Best wishes

I love the fact that she doesn't take responsibility for things she can't control. That's awesome. "Not my problem."

That Help, was an opps. The wonder of the mind. I have all the doors in my house with our favorite numbers on them. She was pretending that each room was an apartment. Her mind trying to understand an "apartment" life style. He little friend lives in one and it is strange to her.

Michelle, I am glad you have a good sense of humor about this - sounds like you might need it this week!! :-)
