Aw, this one just melted me, Melody — both the photo and the post. I find myself storing up these moments too and hugging them close. I cannot even imagine three at once — hugs for your beautiful Mommy heart!

My kids like to do their reading homework underneath the kitchen table, scrunched up and crumpled into little balls. When I point out that they could easily sit upright,they look at me like I’m mad. Did I do that when I was a kid? Probably!

I love it! What a wonderful photo and I loved your entire post. I know exactly about hugging a moment. Probably all moms can understand that!! But I want to thank you for yet another reminder because my little guy is also growing up so fast and despite my best efforts to enjoy and hug and remember all these moments, it’s happening anyway! (Waaaaa!)

As kids, my brothers and I all loved to find little hiding places! But I can’t bring to mind an image of my son doing the same thing – he is usually running around spinning or crashing into things.

What a great shot! I was just talking about getting Frog an appliance box and putting him in it with some crayons or markers. He has a hard time staying in one place for this type of activity and I suspect he would prefer to do it by himself without a lot of anxious peering eyes getting in his way. :0) Right now he likes dark rooms, little spaces made by partly folded panel mats, and the cars when nobody else is there.

OK…that’s adorable! I do have a photo of my child in his favorite place, but unfortunately it’s inside a laundry basket…with another one upturned on top. He has cage issues, I guess.
