Magic Marker Monday — Take A Memo Mom…

Welcome to Magic Marker Monday! If you haven't heard about Magic Marker Monday yet, click here and then hurry right back…

Last week was quite an eventful week at our house — Jacqui learned to read! Apparently, she learned to write as well, as evidenced by this empty cookie container and accompanying that note I found this morning:

Here's the line by line translation:
"To Mom. We need mor cowkes."
(more cookies)
"Thank yoo. Love."
(Thank you. Love,)
"Jacqui an Jingle."
(Jacqui and Jingle. (Our cat))
"Nawt juss me. Jingle gits hongre to."
(Not just me. Jingle gets hungry too.)
"Hrre up. Plez."
(Hurry up, please.)
Duly noted. I'll get right on those GFCF cookies that were supposed to last for the next TWO WEEKS and only lasted THREE DAYS. (Note to self: The kitchen cupboard is no longer a safe hiding place for a certain six-year-old's cookies…)
