Remember those leaf collages back when you were a kid made with collected leaves and waxed paper? Well this week we took a walk and I passed the memory on to my own kids. Now I remember why this was such a fun memory — autumn walks, playing with leaves, and warming up with hot chocolate!

The one that my 6-year-old made is now gracing our back patio door and makes me smile as the morning sunlight filters through the leaves.

    Oh yes. I remember making them myself. Think we’ll have to wait a wee while around here though as the weather is still quite balmy during the day.

    What a great idea, and she did a beautiful job on it! My sons have brought home some cute leaf rubbings too, I’ll have to post some of those sometime :) .

    What a great idea. Our leaves our just starting to change. So, we may have to wait a bit to do this.

    I just spent the most lovely evening visiting everyone’s wonderful artwork — better than a trip to the art gallery! I’m so glad that each of you joined in and I hope to see you next week!
