Special Exposure Wednesday ~ That Twirly Hair Thing

Special Exposure Wednesday – Share the Photography Fun

He is standing in Taekwondo class prepared to receive an award in recognition of his academic excellence. I know I am suppose to be in the moment and feeling all proud, but all I can see is the back of his head with the swirly hair thing going on that melts my heart.

Then I remember the day I walked into his preschool class and saw the silhouettes of each child posted along the walls. I focused on his immediately because…

(1) he had the biggest head in the class, and
(2) of the little tuft of hair that stood straight up.

Mac had no idea that I was focused on such a mushy memory during his Taekwondo award ceremony….but you understand that it's a mom thing, don't you?

What are you sharing this week?

Link up below and leave a little comment love. And don't forget our Flickr group…uh, like I've been doing. Let's add some photos and build it up.

Melody can be found writing at 5M4SN every Tuesday, our Photographing Your Children column and hosting Special Exposure Wednesday. You will also find her at Slurping Life sharing photos and a few words from her special life.

I love it!! My brothers all have that hair thing going on too. I can tell my brothers a mile away by the back of their heads. Cute post!

I do the mommy thing still and my oldest is 31! It won't ever end and I think that is just fine.

Rachelle @ 11:18 am

Cute hair! My oldest son has a spot in his hair that does that too!

Joey's hair does the same thing!

We've been blessed with cowlicks at our house too. They do tend to melt a Momma's heart, don't they?

gail @ 1:31 pm

we call those things cowlicks. not sure why or how they got that name. my son has 2 or 3 of em so the back of his hair, if cut too short, goes every which way! great photo
