Empty Your Boots ~ Special Exposure Wednesday

Welcome to Special Exposure Wednesday, where you have an open invitation to join the weekly photo sharing fun.

In recognition of the fact that summer is drawing to a close (never mind the 92F temps here, thank you), I am sharing a moment from the summer of 2006.

Our family was living in the mountains, and the boys had spent a memorable afternoon playing in a creek which ran near our cabin. It was a perfect afternoon…one of which you always remember every little detail and smile. We got a lot of mileage out of those rubber boots.

What image brings a smile to your face this week? (There is no theme intended…photo to share is always YOUR choice.)

Please link up below and share.

Edit 1:20PM – Mr. Linky has gone and returned. Apparently the Mr. Linky site is experiencing problems. If it disappears again and you miss linking today, you are welcome to add your links on Thursday. But it appears all is well.

*Wil is recovering from yesterday's surgery, so I may miss visiting this week. Keep the sharing and linky love going.

Melody can be found writing here at 5MFSN every Tuesday in addition to hosting Special Exposure Wednesday. You will also find her at Slurping Life sharing photos and a few words from her special life.

Ooo dear, I forgot to update the photo link despite all my empty promises.

I didn't realise we were 'themed' so now I'm also off topic. This is not a good start to the day, two fails already!

Love the wellies.

Cheers

They don't work very well that way. My feet feel pruney just looking at that!

Shynea @ 10:13 am

This is a really nice picture. My sons have both wanted rain boots, but we don't get enough rain down here for them to be of any use.

Rachelle @ 10:34 am

Trish @ 11:17 am
