Love the monster sign! But it's probably helpful to know the right terminology. :)

So glad things are moving in the right direction, both with the g tube and with Parker's learning. All your forethought and preparation just allowed the teaching to flow out without your even realizing it!

Way to go! Sounds like you both had a great week of learning! Fieldtrip week.
I personally think it's very funny (but sad, too) that he signs 'monster' for Dr.s...my daughter screams and starts kicking the sides of the car the moment we take the highway exit toward the hospital. Parker's communication is much cuter.
I'm so sorry it's been so stressful, but I'm very impressed with how many educational activities you worked in around the inconveniences!

I think you're an amazing home and teacher! I'm glad the mystery leak has stopped, and I'll say a prayer for a saner week for all!

I know I don't have it in me to home school my kids, but you make me feel a little better about the time I do spend with them. It is learning! I'm sorry the week has been so hard for you. I hope next week is better and you can just enjoy Parker and some fun schooling. :) Hugs!

It sounds like you're doing a wonderful job!!! I've just started to homeschool my son (Autism) and sometimes I struggle with guilt about how much I'm doing with him. Is it enough? When I sit down and I list the activities we've done and what category they fall under, then I feel a lot better. Learning doesn't have to be done at a desk! :D Hugs!

Yes.

Learning should be fun for everyone...that's my homeschooling motto. Children learn constantly from everything and everyone around them. HS is a life style.

You and Parker have it down pat.
