IVIG day and port day.
She looks tiny in that huge infusion chair.
Always courageous though - they had to reaccess her four times yesterday, before the silly thing would flush and she didn’t even cry.
I think if it were me, I would be howling.

Bringing up seven kids has led to in depth knowledge of asthma, autism, fetal alcohol syndrome and drug induced developmental delay, immune deficiency and autoimmune disease, ectodermal dysplasia, neonatal death and cardiac defect. Despite all of that, I didn't know I was about to start the ride of my life with the illness of my youngest daughter, Ivy.

She does look so tiny in that big old chair. What a brave little girl! Kids amaze me with what they go through without complaint.
She is very brave – and must have a very high pain threshold. Hope all is well now.
What a brave little girl. She is very precious.
I am totally and forever in love with this girl of yours.
*smooch*
such a sweet photo
she sounds like a very strong little girl
Before I read where she was, I thought it was a photo of her in the dentist’s chair, and I thought she was handling that real well. Ditto to what everyone else has said – she’s brave, strong and beautiful!
She does look small. And sweet. And peaceful. I just want to give her the nicest hug!
