A certain three-year-old around our place has just started doodling people — and apparently they’re happy little people!

And some of them are even starting to sprout legs!
The “learning-to-draw-people” phase is one of my absolute favorites

Great job on the people!
What fun! My son’s pre-K teacher was telling me at the beginning of the year how amazing the difference is between what children first draw for people and what they draw at the end of a year.
I love this stage of drawing. My little C is a wonderful artist at 4. Abby is just beginning, she still prefers to scribble.
I love these! My baby book has some of my first people in them (square heads!) and my first fox (looking remarkably like my people, but with a tail!) These are much more lifelike. Wonderful! I have a pretty funny Christmas card from my niece (flourescent people!) that I’m thinking about posting if I find a round tuit this week (ie get around to it… lol)
