Magic Marker Monday — Turkey Leftovers…

It took me four years to paint like Raphael, but a lifetime to paint like a child.”

Did you have a happy Thanksgiving?

We did!

We found the inspiration for these little guys over at Oriental Trading Company.

Oh…

Pardon me… one of them is supposed to be a girl.

Hence the eyelashes.

She asked me for glitter too, but we were out (she used it all up decorating card-stock pumpkins last month).

Why?

Because when you’re a seven-year-old girl, everything in life becomes magical when a little bit of foof and sparkle is thrown in.

Apparently tom turkeys are no exception.

So what was I thankful for this Thanksgiving?

Well, among other things, for the foof and sparkle a certain seven-year-old flings into life by unfettered handfuls.

Hope your Thanksgiving was magical too!
