Many lower body surgeries, excruciating pain and tears, an accumulation of weeks confined to bed and months upon months dependent on wheelchairs and walkers, intensive rehabilitations and ongoing physical therapy, at least one more lower body surgery to go…and he will tell you it was worth every bit of it.

Wil understands how precious is the gift of walking. Each time he sees someone in a wheelchair, he says “I wish they could walk like me.”

I think Wil is a pretty special gift. How about a hug for him in comments?

I am loving the new bloggy friendship forming here at 5M4SN. Thank each of you for ‘hugging Wil’. He really is a treasure, as is each of my boys and each of your children.

I’m off to a day of therapy appointments with the boys and will be dropping by your SEW photos tonight.

Thanks for joining in and sharing your photos each week. Can’t wait to see all the entries for the SE Model Search. :)
