Many lower body surgeries, excruciating pain and tears, an accumulation of weeks confined to bed and months upon months dependent on wheelchairs and walkers, intensive rehabilitations and ongoing physical therapy, at least one more lower body surgery to go…and he will tell you it was worth every bit of it.
Wil understands how precious is the gift of walking. Each time he sees someone in a wheelchair, he says “I wish they could walk like me.”
I think Wil is a pretty special gift. How about a hug for him in comments?
