Just one other thought. Be very specific when asking for anything. My son was given "preferential seating" on his IEP. Those of us in the meeting knew that meant where He wanted to be seated. The teacher took it to be seated up front. My son has a problem with being looked at by anyone, he was miserable for the first two weeks of school, until I found out why.
