Well, I thought I would go vintage on this one. This little masterpiece is from Jacqui's Sharpie Marker phase at age three. To be honest, I didn't really know what I was looking at until Jacqui climbed up in my lap to tell me about her artwork…
Jacqui: Know wat dis is Mom?
Me: Umm … Yes! Of course! That's you, me, and Daddy.
Jacqui: (scowling) Noooooooooo!! You guess-ded wrong! (folding her arms and scowling even fiercer) Try 'genn.
Me: Uhhh… Grandpa and Grandma?
Jacqui: Noooooooooo! You needta pay da tenshun, Mommy! You dint look at da picher right! Itsa doggy onna grass blowin' bubbles next to a tree!
Me: Ah, yes … of course! How silly of me, it's a lovely doggy blowing bubbles next to a tree.
Jacqui: Onna grass. You forgotted da grass.
Me: Yes, a wonderful, beautiful doggy on the grass blowing bubbles next to a lovely tree — you're amazing!
Jacqui: (grinning) Danks Mommy! Come see da wall now!
Yep. That's right. A lovely black Sharpie Marker wall mural. She has quite a portfolio … *sigh*

What a great picture, and the description she gave you is even better! How cool :). We were usually left to use our imaginations to figure out what our sons' drawings were, it was a while before they could tell us.
Just this weekend, LB gave me a brief description of one of his pictures (he has just recently discovered a love of markers, thank goodness for "Color Wonder" LOL), which I posted about today :).

Oooo, the RED Sharpie! So how’d you get the sharpie off the wall? I had to paint over Su’s sharpie mural…we were renting at the time and the landlord wouldn’t have appreciated her art like we do.
Lovely picture, Jacqui!

Don't we wish we'd taken out shares in Mr. Muscle Erasers or possibly included a 'request' during the baby shower phase of life.
Cheers

This is wonderful. Your Jacqui sure is artistic and uses her imagination! Awesome! This is a wonderful drawing for 3 a year old I'm impressed!
I have a no Sharpie's allowed in the house rule. Tristan is my third child and I just don't allow them BTDT too many times LOL

Boy, I was way off on my guess! I am just now getting my experience at interpreting drawings - my son refused to draw even shapes until he was almost 5 years old.
