Playing To Learn

Written by Tammy and Parker

It is a simple fact that kids learn through their play. And as a teacher I take full advantage of this situation.

Two of Parker's all time favorite things are balls and frogs. What better objects to use to begin our journey of learning how to sort?

Red frog goes with……red frog!

But sometimes things an get a bit tricky…. And a little guy really has to do some thinking….

I'm thinking a round ball goes with a round ball……

No Way! I got that one right?

Learning new stuff totally rocks!

I absolutely adore his expressions! And the sorting boxes are a great idea. Gabi's teacher does that same technique in her classroom.
