“It took me four years to paint like Raphael, but a lifetime to paint like a child.”
~Pablo Picasso
Welcome to Magic Marker Monday! If you haven’t heard about Magic Marker Monday yet, click here and then hurry right back…

We’ve been playing with instant paper mache mix — this week was step one. Now we just wait for our sculpture to dry out and next week is step two — PAINT!
We’ve never tried instant paper mache before and aside from a little bit of dust when adding the water to the mix, we give it a big ‘two thumbs up’.
Next time we’ll just make sure we’re outside when we add our water and do our mixing. Lots of squishable fun!
Can you guess what a certain six-year-old was sculpting?
I’ll give you a hint… it’s another link in the very long chain of a particularly persistent and relentless 6-year-old’s year-long campaign.
Somehow I’m guessing there will be some black and white paint involved in this project.
What has your little artist been up to this week? Link up and share!

Instant! I like instant. I’ve done papier mache projects with mine last year and let me tell you it was anything but instant. And puppies….we love em, even though they’re now huge, 78 pounds last weigh in. Hoping life will return to normal after our four day weekend.
Cheers
What a wonderful puppy! It looks just fantastic! I knew what it was without the hints too
Happy MMM!
Wow, she did great! I could tell right away it was a puppy
. He looks quite friendly too, just the type you might want to adopt if you were a 6-yr-old girl
.
What a fun idea with the instant paper mache.
What fun! I love papier mache!
