Alice.com Review and Giveaway! $100.00 Gift Card!
When I discovered of Alice.com my first thought was: "This company MUST have been created by parents of children with special needs!"
What is Alice.com you wonder?
Think of products you use everyday delivered to your door.
You know those in the middle of the night grocery store trips because you just ran out of diapers?
Or in my case, I'm in the hospital with Parker and my kids are calling to let me know we just ran out of stuff for their lunch bags.
Even when I'm at home, I'm not able to just run out and grab forgotten items. Especially considering that where Parker goes, so go his oxygen tanks, emergency bags, diaper bags, and everything else needed to keep our Brave Hero alive.
But guess what? Our lives just got easier! Because with Alice.com you can:
- Get free shipping with every order
- Manage and automate your life – Alice is a service, similar to Netflix, that makes it very easy for you to manage and automate this entire category of goods so you never run out.
- Use budgeting and advanced planning tools – Alice let’s you plan your purchases, helping you budget and focus your spending, and avoid impulse purchases at the store
- Take advantage of competitive prices – In addition to always free shipping, Alice’s prices are competitive with the traditional mass retailers.
- Get coupons applied automatically – Alice has a completely new couponing system. They automatically find and apply coupons for you on thousands of products, making it easy to save even more without any extra effort.
- Save time and eliminate store trips
- Find all your favorite brands
I had two of my kids help me decide what to put into our cart for our maiden voyage. First, we set up our free account. Then we started picking products from each room in our house that we use the most- laundry soap, hand soap, toilet paper, and of course my kids were all over the great snack selection offered by Alice.com.
Then we told Alice.com how often we wanted to be reminded to order these products. You know, so we won't ever run out of these items again. Alice.com provides you with options from every two weeks, to every six months!
Now YOU need to run straight over to Alice.com and create your free account and then start selecting your favorite products, take a look at the available coupons and start managing your very own product manager.
Why, you ask?
Because I have a $100.00 gift card to giveaway to one lucky 5 Minutes For Special Needs reader!
To enter just leave a comment below telling me how Alice.com would make YOUR life easier!
Don’t forget you can earn additional entries: subscribe to our feed, add our 5 Minutes for Special Needs button in your sidebar, write a post and link back to this contest on your blog, and spread the word via Facebook, Twitter, or email! (Just make sure you leave extra comments letting us know. Your comments are your entries.)
Sorry, Alice.com. You'll never be able to deliver anything this cute!
Offer available in the U.S. only!
Contest will run through next Friday!
Please be sure to read our Terms and Conditions.
You can also find Tammy and Parker hanging out at their other blog, Praying for Parker and on Twitter where they are known as ParkerMama.

Shopping with a little baby is NEVER easy – not to mention loading the groceries in the car and then unloading them when you get home. I would LOVE to win! Thanks for the great giveaway!

I don't have a car, so shopping is an all-day trip schlepping everything on the bus, or walking… either way, I end up limited to what I can carry in my little go-getter carts, which are just big enough to hold two brown-paper grocery bags of stuff! Alice would be wonderful to get that necessary stuff without having to cart it home!
Janet @ 6:38 pm
How wouldn't Alice.com make my life easier? With 2 working adults, a vent dependent 14 month old, a string of nurses who may or may not mention that they're running low on supplies, and a housekeeper who mentions things are out at the least opportune times, just running to the store is a challenge, but it seems to come up frequently.

This could help so much..No more having kids trying to throw everything in the cart and having to take it back out. What should be a half hour grocery shopping trip takes well over an hour..Thanks for the chance.
Chondra @ 8:41 am
Wow! What a great service! Even if I didn't have a child with special needs this service would be a blessing just for its time saving and organizational features! Can't wait to try it out!

When I was a young mom of a special child a local grocery store took pity on me and delivered for a few years…but now that there's Alice.com, it's got everything you need to run a modern household set up to deliver on a regular schedule.
MaggieBelize @ 11:00 am
I just received my first Alice order, and I'm thrilled! Everything just as I ordered it, no mistakes, securely packaged and delivered to my door for FREE.
I especially liked all the coupons available on Alice. I saved more than $10 just on this one order!
Steph @ 11:03 am
Love the Alice.com concept – a great time-saver for everyone, but especially those with exceptional circumstances. Thanks!
Night Owl Mama @ 1:58 pm
Its a hassel and fight to go shopping w/ 3 kids , 1 who screams the whole time while the other 2 kick at each other, so much easier to order and get itt delivered

My housekeeper (me) says it is so hard to go to the store in a raggedy old van that it is a miracle that it even starts…so Alice would be a sweet relief and the nanny (me) and my driver (me) would be so happy to not be inconvenienced….LOL

I have 6 kids ages 6 and under (2 sets of twins) and a husband gone for the next year and a half. How could Alice.com help me? Let me count the ways…
Forgetfulone @ 9:10 pm
I've registered for my account, and it would make my life so much easier due to the limited time I have as a work-outside-the-home mom.
Nany Jan @ 7:40 pm
Hi,
I'm a senior citizen in a low-income apt complex. However, I can walk to the library where I can use the computer.
My daugher in VA, (I am in San Diego), told me about Alice. Without a car, I have to walk to the store and usually end up paying a lot because I cannot carry much at one time. There is really only one store close and it is a grocery store so I know I pay a lot for what I have to get.
Most people do not know that many of us are only living on the minimum Social Security which is $502/month.
Alice can help me in that I can save my pennies by not having to buy a Sunday newspaper. The only reason I get one is to get the coupons.
Alice can help me because the items will come to my apt and I don't have to cart them home. It's not getting any easier on the old bones to hike to the store and back.
Alice can help me in that they'll keep track of what I need…as my memory has g.o.n.e.
Thank you for your website. I've enjoyed reading it. I have a nephew who has special needs. He has Asperger's Syndrome and my sister's family has this challenge to overcome. But these Special children are a blessing on this Earth.
Respectfully, Jan
Marybeth Bishop @ 12:23 pm
With 4 kids and a 5th on the way, that would be so useful!
Kate Wilson @ 4:34 pm
Yay! This sounds so awesome! I can't tell you how many times I get rude comments from people (mostly generated at the grocery store from ignorant people who know nothing about Tourette's) so, yes, I subscribe!
Melissa Raymond @ 11:51 am
This is such an awesome site! Our CLOSEST grocery store is 30 miles away, so I could sure benefit from this service. There is no such thing as a "quick" trip to the store for me! If I forget something at the store I'm just out of luck until my next trip, LOL!
Cari @ 1:11 pm
I'm going to do some cost comparisons and then talk to hubby about Alice.com! Looks like a neat site. Thanks for blogging about it!

Considering gas prices, I think Alice.com would make things easier by helping us prevent extra trips to the store for regularly needed items. I could just let Alice.com remind me to order. Plus, they track coupons for you.

Some days I just cannot handle getting the wheelchair on/off the bus and the other kids and make an informed decision when shopping! It's often too much work to leave the house.
Carolyn G @ 9:49 pm
It would make my life easier because of the free shipping. How great is it to have your supplies delivered to your own house.
Melissa @Mel4Him @ 8:51 am
I think Alice would make my life easier because my home has a lot of steps. Lugging the groceries up those steps is no fun. My 7 year old helps to some extent but Ugh! I almost break my back every time. It would be nice to have items delivered right to my door for a change. : )

I live on the 3rd floor and I have 2 kids (one is only a month old) so you can imagine how having my groceries shipped to me for FREE would really help me out! Thanks so much!
Carey @ 9:22 am
Ive heard of Alice, but never used it.
This would be handy for toilet paper. With 6 in the house, I always seem to be making trips for toilet paper. It would be nice not to have to run around all the time to get it.
Katie @ 10:20 pm
Avoiding a trip to the grocery store? AWESOME.
Kim O @ 7:34 am
I'm currently waiting for my 2nd order from Alice.com. I love it!!
Michele @ 1:50 pm
It's already making my life easier! I use it every week for items I'll need but don't need right that second, and compare the prices online with my grocery store. Most often – it's cheaper at Alice. Plus they have some items my store doesn't carry – like the elusive special Excedrin for Sinus Pressure.
Betty @ 5:56 pm
Alice would save me so much time and effort while costing basically the same as I'm paying anyway. And they do have more choices then I expected

Alice could sure simplify my life.
I don't drive anymore & use the city bus.
I can only buy so much at a time so I go more often.
We all know the more often we go, the more we spend.
I can't imagine the luxury of things coming to me!

What an amazing service. Went to the store today and completely forgot things on my list. I think this would be great for those items you need but don't have to buy all the time so you always forget them. Like lightbulbs. I need new lightbulbs and keep forgetting to get them until I notice a bulb out and then I try to remember the next time at the store but it never works.

Life with alice.com will be a dream come true besides, making grocery shopping painfree. I'm disabled with Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy and shopping is a big challenge which I cannot do alone. I know now alice.com will be life changing and there is hope for the disabled.
