Things have been rough around my place lately. Tough things. Things falling under the “un-bloggable” category of life.

But you know what? Even when things are tough, life is good.

Because our family has each other.

I awoke early the other morning to the start of another rough day and I found this resting on my pillow and a pair of twinkling brown eyes smiling at me over the edge of the covers.

“Happy I Love You Day, Mommy,” she giggled. “I hope my Sweet Dreams Wishes card help-ded you have a lovely sleep last night.”

Then with the flash of a dimple, she darted out the door. Leaving me with a smile to carry in my heart throughout a very long day.

Life is good, no?
