I think this would be great for a lot of people; it is so easy to get hung up on what age your child is instead of following the developmental path they are on.

That was great and made me laugh. Being the Mom of very premature babies I faced a lot of the same. My sons never were on “the chart” and did things at their pace. Probably still do.

Scheduling, expectations and ‘what if’ seem to be watch words around here too, but I’m definitely with you on the ‘stage’ not ‘age.’ You never can tell what’s right around the corner.
