I love taking pictures but unfortunately I stink at it! What I wouldn't give to be able to capture my daughter's beautiful essence on digital "film". I'm looking forward to this column.

Looking forward to it Melody!! I can definitely use some guidance...for every good shot I get of Jess, I have at least 20 bad ones (top or side of her head, arms in front of her face, looking up her nose, complete blur, not even in the shot, LOL!)

I stopped taking my son to any photo studios because the pictures turned out so crummy and they just didn't have the patience with him. Since photography is becoming a new hobby of mine, I set up my own little "photo shoots" for my son using blankets or sheets as backdrops. I did the ones for our Christmas card and honestly think they are almost just as good as a studio portrait.

I'm looking forward to this column and learning/hearing about others expereinces!

I love taking photos, candid and posed, of my children. They've gotten so used to the camera that they're now helping compose shots. I look forward to this column!
