It’s my pleasure to know Penny, Jake and Nell. My kids love to hang with Jake and Nell, I love the way Penny allows BOTH of her children to be individuals and explore life on their own terms. Kudos to you Penny for being a wonderful mother, and for not allowing Jake’s special needs to over-rule his individuality and ability to take on life.

It is always refreshing to read a parent’s perspective who chooses to relish the joys of parenting a child with special challenges. After all, it is what all parents should do.
