I had to throw together festivities for the day as well, even though she knows that leprechauns are make-believe. Just like with Santa and the tooth fairy. I was informed that if I did not play along, I would be guilty of being a "fuddy duddy". Moreover, I would be in danger of getting "reely old reely fast jess like Wendy in Peter Pan (we just finished reading it) if I didn't shape up and remember how to play pretend with her. ;) So I shaped up and decorated the house forthwith.
