Wow! Parker is making great progress. I just threw out our chewy-tube that Nathan used. He now eats non-stop ;) ... Keep up the great work.

Looks like he's working the chewy tube just fine! We recently found Kayla's old tube (it had been packed away) and she's using it again. I think she has some oral issues going on as she likes to chew on anything she is holding, so I'm trying to encourage at least the chewy tube again!

So glad he is making progress! Now if they just had something to convince a child to eat foods that are soft or mushy - my son is a crunchy/chewy only type of guy. :)

Work that chewy, dude! Loving the photos, and the clip is a great idea. Where were you years ago?

I so remember all the chewies we went through trying to get Wil to love anything in his mouth.

My daughter had some similar issues. But I am proud to say that after 8 years of feeding therapy at our local Children's Hospital, she has happily graduated to real food eaten by mouth. For example, last Friday I took my kids to Pizza Hut for lunch. I ordered a medium cheese pizza for Ashley and me to share. Ashley ate 6 pieces and reluctantly let me have 2.

It's hard to believe that I used to think she would be tube fed her entire life!
