We recently found Kayla's old tube (it had been packed away) and she's using it again. I think she has some oral issues going on as she likes to chew on anything she is holding, so I'm trying to encourage at least the chewy tube again! Looks like he’s working the chewy tube just fine! But I am proud to say that after 8 years of feeding therapy at our local Children's Hospital, she has happily graduated to real food eaten by mouth. For example, last Friday I took my kids to Pizza Hut for lunch. I ordered a medium cheese pizza for Ashley and me to share. Ashley ate 6 pieces and reluctantly let me have 2. It's hard to believe that I used to think she would be tube fed her entire life! My daughter had some similar issues.
