I know that my children are just being logical and that the price is other people's truly hurt feelings, and vicarious pain of other people is so difficult to manage and handle. No matter what I say after the event, I know that there's a scar. I've tried 'correcting' at the time but it's doesn't really penetrate. I've tried discussing it afterwards but even when they get it [they're very empathetic to other people's hurt feelings] they still can't generalize that situation to others. On a lighter note, if anyone hasn't already read Scribbit this morning, I'd highly recommend whizzing over there to take a peek of her interview with All Riley'd Up as we mums need a little boost sometimes.
